Where We Ship:
We ship only within the United States (50 States, APO/FPO and D.C.).  All shipments to APO/FPO addresses are shipped via Postal Service Priority Mail.  We do not ship to U.S. Possessions or other Countries.  We accept only credit cards issued by U.S. banks with billing addresses in the U.S.
When We Ship:
ON-LINE orders received by 5:00 p.m. Central Time WEEKDAYS (excluding Holidays) ship the same day.  Orders received after 5:00 p.m. Central Time or on weekends or holidays ship on the next business day.  Phone orders may not ship the same day.

Shipping Options:

FREE Shipping: Orders with merchandise totals over $99.00 are provided a free shipping option.  Free shipping is either by Postal Service Priority Mail for lighter orders or by FedEx Home Delivery for heavier orders.  Unlike most companies, we reduce all shipping options by the amount the free shipping would have been so you still save even if you choose another shipping option.  And all shipping options, including free shipping, ship TODAY* for on-line orders placed by 5:00 p.m. Central Time.
Postal Service Priority Mail: The Postal Service advertises 2-3 business days for delivery and they deliver Monday through Saturday except Holidays.  However, the Postal Service does NOT Guarantee Priority Mail shipping time.  While many shipments will arrive in 2-3 days after shipping, it is not uncommon for a Priority mail shipment to take longer to arrive at its destination.  Allow even more time for Priority Mail during the Christmas mailing season.  Priority Mail tracking normally shows only when the shipment is picked up and when it is delivered.  USPS does not normally provide tracking information in between.  All shipments over $1,000.00 require a signature on delivery.  (Military APO/FPO shipments typically take 5 - 7 days with some locations taking several weeks. The Postal Service does not support delivery confirmation to many APO/FPO addresses so many APO/FPO packages will never show anything beyond being picked up and accepted by the Postal Service.)
FedEx Home Delivery
FedEx Home Delivery (Ground) service is available to residential addresses in the United States.  Delivery can take up to one week.  Deliveries to address closer to our central US location may take only a few days.  For an estimate of delivery time to your location enter "68801" and click "View Map" at FedEx Ground Service Maps.  Deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. except Holidays.  No deliveries on Mondays.  FedEx Home Delivery cannot deliver to P.O. boxes (use Priority Mail for PO Boxes). All shipments over $1,000.00 require a signature on delivery.

FedEx Express
FedEx Express cannot ship to a Post Office Box (use Priority Mail for PO Boxes).   Delivery times are from date of shipping.  Nonresidential FedEx Express shipments require a signature on delivery.  FedEx may require a signature for residential addresses at their discretion.  All shipments over $1,000.00 require a signature on delivery.

Shipping Confirmation:
Orders placed ON-LINE on this website will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking/confirmation number and the website address where you can check on your order. This email will be sent late on the evening your order ships and will be sent to the email address you provided on the order form.  You can also get your tracking number after 5:30 p.m. Central Time on the day your order ships from our tracking web page at: http://4x4books.com/track.htm.  Please note that for Priority Mail the Postal Service website normally provides only confirmation of accepting the shipment and of delivering it.  They do not normally provide any information in between.
Signature Required:
All nonresidential and some residential FedEx Express shipments require a signature on delivery.  If you wish to waive this signature, so state in the "Comments" box in the Shopping Cart.  If you waive the signature, you are responsible for full payment for the order even if it is stolen or damaged between the time the carrier leaves it and the time you get home. The signature cannot be waived on orders over $1,000.00.  All shipments over $1,000.00 require a signature on delivery.  A signature will be required on shipments over $1,000.00 even if you have signed a waiver agreement with the carrier.
Off-Line Shipping & Handling Charges:
For phone orders add a $3.00 handling charge to the total including shipping shown in the shopping cart. Phone orders may not ship the same day. Purchase Orders, Mail Orders and FAX orders not accepted.
